This weeks adventure was to the island of Nantucket where The LOOK Book, began!
I enjoyed an amazing weekend with intelligent, engaging special women!!! Both mothers and daughters:)
It was a girls weekend with PAST not OLD neighbors:) I have been blessed to have lived in a very unique neighborhood where everyone got along and supported each other and I realized this weekend we continue to enrich each others lives even if most of us do not live next door to each other.
We got all caught up on each others lives then set out to explore the island. We had planned to join a tour given by the NHA (Nantucket Historical Association) but due to the Hurricane/Tropical Storm it had been cancelled…so what did we do?? We decided to create our own tour!
​Starting with the oldest house, Built ca. 1686. Although it was not open that did not stop us! 

We continued on to the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum to learn the history and do a little shopping!

Over the next two days we visited several additional historic sites owned and operated by the NHA including Greater Light, Thomas Macy House and The Hadwen House.

Of course we also had to enjoy the a little shopping, food (lobster bisque on a windy cold day)
​along with MANY laughs!!!

The first annual PAST not OLD neighborhood weekend was so awesome we are already planning the next one! Possibly???…The LOOK Book, Charleston, South Carolina will be an outcome of a new tradition!
